Bob Mills Furniture is preparing
to open a new 93,000-square-foot store now under construction
at 5910 Spur 327. Mills will share that space with The
Floor Trader/Brewer Carpet One. Franchisee Lewis BB Restaurants
has signed a new multiunit agreement with Dallas-based
Baker Bros. to open as many as nine specialty sandwich
shops across West Texas, including two in Lubbock. One
of those stores is expected to open later this fall at
Sagewood Plaza. Buffalo Wild Wings has planned a second
location, at 6320 19th St. on the north side of the thoroughfare,
east of Milwaukee Avenue.
